Delete your HeXaGoal account

This page explains how to delete your account in HeXaGoal (the football match probability app published by HeXaGoal), and what happens to your data when you do. There are two ways to delete your account; both are available to every user.

Method 1 - delete inside the app (fastest)

  1. Open the HeXaGoal app and sign in (if you are not already signed in).
  2. Tap the Settings tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll down to the Data card and tap Delete Account (directly below "Clear Cache").
  4. Read the confirmation dialog and tap Delete account.

Your account is deleted immediately: you are signed out, all data stored on your device is wiped, and the deletion of your server-side account identity begins (see the retention details below).

Method 2 - request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app (lost device, uninstalled, can't sign in), email us from the email address your account is registered under:

privacy@hexagoal.app

Suggested subject: "Account deletion request". We may need to verify your identity before acting. We respond within one calendar month for GDPR-covered users, or within 30 days otherwise.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Data that is deleted

When you delete your account, we remove your account identity - your email address, your password, and any linked Apple or Google sign-in identities - within 30 days. All app data stored on your device is wiped immediately when you use the in-app method.

Data that is kept, and for how long

We retain a limited subset of records where the law requires it: subscription and transaction records are kept for tax purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy §6. Those retained records are de-identified from your account where possible - they no longer point back to you.

Active subscriptions are NOT cancelled

Deleting your HeXaGoal account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription - Apple and Google manage billing, so you must cancel separately:

  • Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → HeXaGoal → Cancel subscription
  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → HeXaGoal → Cancel Subscription
